Managing Director
He started his career in 1992 and worked in various sectors including shipbuilding, automobile, textile industries for more than 6 six years around the world. It worth mentioning the recent achievement of his career in an inspection division as a first employee and transformed it into one of the most successful inspection divisions worth multimillions in over 10 countries with more than 40 branches over the span of 17 years. The inspection division equipped with all the Conventional NDT, Advanced NDT, Lifting Inspection, Third Party Inspection, Mechanical Testing, etc. Being qualified to NDT Level III in RT, UT, MT, PT, VT & UT and undergone various Advanced NDT, LEEA, Welding Courses, he could contribute his technical capabilities for the development of his division coupled with management abilities. In 2016, he has joined Aqualis as Managing Director and Principal ASNT NDT Level III.
Manager (Operations and Sales)
Rajarajan joined the Aqualis Group in 2016 as an Operations Coordinator. Since then, he has played a key role in driving the divisions into multiple sectors, enhancing the company's management systems and achieving 100% success in project completion and customer satisfaction. His expertise spans Project Management, Operations and QHSE, along with extensive field experience in various NDT methods and asset integrity across industries like Oil & Gas, Marine, Offshore Structures and Turnkey Projects. Starting his career as a Junior Technician, Rajarajan progressed through various sectors and departments of engineering, gaining 11 years of valuable experience in the Middle East, ultimately developing into a highly skilled manager.
General Manager (Abu Dhabi Branch)
Ashokan brings over 28 years of business development, site management and operations management experience within the NDT, DT / Metallurgical Testing and Third - Party Inspection (TPI) sectors, supporting oil & gas, energy and industrial projects. He began his career as a supervisor in the manufacturing sector and advanced through roles in process engineering, value engineering and project management, playing a key role in the successful setup and commissioning of new plants and operational facilities.
Project Management
Vijay joined Aqualis in 2019 as a Junior QC Inspector and through our rigorous training program, has advanced to oversee the Operations / Technical Department. As an Electrical Engineer, he began his career in PDM inspection and has since developed a deep understanding of standards and code requirements in NDT and Welding. His unique exposure to American, British and ISO standards distinguishes him as a standout professional in the industry. Currently, Vijay leads a team of highly qualified engineers, providing guidance on NDT reporting and technical requirements, driving the team to achieve the next level of quality and excellence.
Technical Lead (Lifting Inspection)
Arun Prasanth is a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in quality control, inspection and coordination. He began his career in 2013 as a Quality Control Engineer with ASNT Level 2 certifications. He oversaw stage by stage inspections of pressure equipment, structures and sheet metal fabrications. In 2016, he moved to the UAE as a QC / NDT Coordinator in the Oil & Gas Industry, Handling Visual Inspections, RTFI and Managing Contractor's NDT Activities on tanks and pressure vessels. Later, he joined in role of Inspection Engineer for a Third Party Inspection Company, specializing in inspecting pressure equipment, storage tanks, heavy industrial and lifting equipment for 8 years, with expertise in ASME, NBIC, API and BS EN standards. In 2024, Arun joined Aqualis as the Technical Lead in the Lifting Department. He oversees onshore and marine lifting inspections, load testing, technical and sales coordination and plays a key role in securing new projects and driving the division's growth.
Cathodic Protection Team Lead
Kumaresan began his career in 2013, gaining over five years of experience in technical support across various operations in India. In 2018, he transitioned into the cathodic protection sector in the UAE, where he has worked on numerous global projects in the marine, Oil & Gas Industries, as well as Reinforced Concrete Structures. Since 2020, he has led teams in this field and have been involved in the design and manufacturing of high - capacity rectifier transformer units (up to 200A), both oil - cooled and air - cooled, as well as various types of ICCP and SCP anodes. By a certified Cathodic Protection Engineer and bring 11 years of global experience and passion for Cathodic Protection and Electrical Engineering. He has successfully executed several multi - billion - dollar projects across marine, Oil & Gas and Reinforced Concrete Sectors. His expertise in team leadership, time management and project management - combined with his ability to manage multi - disciplinary and multicultural teams - has made him a key player in ensuring the successful execution and completion of complex projects.
Sales
Asha joined Aqualis in 2022, bringing with her 8 years of extensive experience in sales management across the Gulf region and India. During her tenure in these markets, Asha successfully managed sales teams, developed key client relationships and implemented strategic initiatives that drove business growth. Her expertise in market analysis, customer engagement and revenue optimization has been instrumental in enhancing Aqualis sales operations. With a strong focus on delivering results and fostering collaboration, Asha plays a key role in driving the company’s sales strategies and overall business development efforts.
Technical Team Lead
Raja Ramamoorthy is an experienced NDT Inspection Engineer with over 11 years of expertise in the Oil & Gas and Construction Industry. Starting their career in 2013, they quickly established a reputation for their technical proficiency and dedication to Non - Destructive Testing (NDT) methodologies, which are critical for ensuring the safety and reliability of industrial assets. Throughout their career, Raja Ramamoorthy has been involved in a diverse range of projects, tackling the unique challenges of the Oil & Gas sector. Their extensive experience in various NDT techniques, along with their problem - solving approach, has made them a trusted professional in the field. In 2021, Raja Ramamoorthy joined Aqualis Inspection Service as an Inspection Engineer. Their leadership capabilities and technical expertise were soon recognized, leading to their current position as a Technical Team Lead. In this role, they oversee inspection teams, manage complex projects and ensure compliance with industry standards, delivering exceptional results for clients. He is known for their ability to balance technical demands with a focus on teamwork and innovation. His strengths include advanced NDT techniques, project leadership and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality in the projects they lead.
